Rob was born and raised in northern California. Leaving the beaches and mountains at age 15, he and his family found a new home in the rolling hills of Missouri. Rob graduated from Spurgeon College in 2011 and has served in a variety of volunteer and vocational roles in ministry over the past 20 years. 

 

Meeting his wife, Ileah, on a mission trip after strictly warning the young men in the youth ministry he was overseeing that they were there to serve and represent Jesus, not to “meet girls” proved to be the sweetest of ironies. They were married the following year and began serving together in a small church in the urban core of Kansas City. 

 

Rob and Ileah, along with their daughters, Melody and Coralie, moved to southwest Florida in May of 2021. They love being outside and specifically Saturday morning beach breakfast picnics. Rob has found a love of fishing and enjoys playing any sport he can find. 

 

Joining the staff of Riverside Church in February 2023 as the Community Pastor,  Rob’s passion is developing strong relationships with other believers through discipleship, service, and impacting the world for Christ.
