Men's Fraternity, Winning at Home and Work, ran through December 14th (Session 10) completing talks on home and family.
We resume January 11, 2012 for 6 sessions that address men and work.
Important Men's Event
EVENT #1 - THE GATHERING
On January 12th at 6:30 PM at the Riverside Church (Times7) Youth Room we host "The Gathering", a regional men's meeting organized by Florida Men of Integrity and Real Men Ministries. This event is FREE and designed to bring together ALL men from ALL churches into ONE place to challenge us and call us to a higher purpose to advance the mission of Christ in SWFL!

During "The Gathering" we will have a "brotherhood challenge" where men will earn points for their home church while competing against one another in different "man" events. The men who earn the most points will win the MMC trophy to proudly display at their church! And of course we will have FOOD! We ask that you please consider a donation to help cover this cost.

What is Men's Fraternity About?
Year 2 is titled Winning at Work & Home, a 16-session study, focuses on the two areas that are central to a man's life: career and family. It will begin to build the walls of manhood through study dealing with a man's chief responsibilities. It explores how a man can enjoy and engage his work and how he can relate to a woman in a whole new way.
Here are the details:
TIME: 6:00AM, each Wednesday for 16 weeks (not including holiday breaks)
COST: $10
WHERE: Riverside Youth Room (through main doors and to the left)
SIGNUP: In the lobby Sunday mornings or simply show up on September 28th
IMPORTANT!! You did not need to completeYear 1 to attend. While Year 1 is beneficial it is not required in order to benefit from Year 2. Newcomers welcome!
This is not a church service . . .
where you will sing, have Bible study or take an offering. Believing in Jesus Christ is not a prerequisite. We are challenging all men to attend because you will learn biblical truth's on being a REAL man.
The Format
The format is simple: Men come together for weekly 45-minute DVD session based on the Men's Fraternity material, followed by 30 minutes of small group interaction in an environment where men are free to talk openly and confidentially about what they heard and express mutual support for one another.
