LifeGroups

lifegroups-logosmRiverside encourages all adults to join a LifeGroup.  A Life Group is a smaller group of people within our church who meet regularly to establish a sense of community to live out the reality of the Christian life on a day-to-day basis. The mission of Life Groups is to grow Christ-centered communities through loving relationships.


Starting Point

startingpoint-logoAn ideal setting for people with questions about faith as well as those who want to learn more about the Bible and Christianity. It is a conversational environment where people can explore ideas about faith and experience community. It provides a safe and welcoming small group atmosphere where your opinions and thoughts will be valued.


Riverside Softball

Adults can connect through our Softball team.

 

The vision of the Sports Ministry is, "A place where athletic competition meets Christian brotherhood." (and sisterhood - it is a co-ed league).

Our mission is to create friendships between the churched and unchurched alike through fun competition in sports. We try to win, but winning is not the main goal, rather we strive to:

  • play the best we can and have fun,

  • build camaraderie between teammates and families,

  • encourage one another in success and failure,

  • show good sportsmanship, always; and

  • compete while living like Christ and loving each other as brothers and sisters in Christ.



Men's Fraternity

Are you winning at home as a husband, father and leader? Are you modeling what a real man acts like? If your son would ask you what is the definition of real manhood what would you say? For most men, we don’t have solid answers to give, but we desperately want to win.


Come together with other men to honestly examine our lives and take the courageous steps necessary to embrace authentic manhood and become who God intends us to be. That is the goal of Men’s Fraternity.

Tbursday Mornings

2010class_jesuswantstosavechristiansJoin Lisa Green for fellowship and study weekly for a study by Rob Bell & Don Golden called Jesus Wants to Save Christians, which goes in to detail about how Americans today miss the central message of the Bible.


Thursday Evenings

2010class_expheartofjesusJoin Pat Barley & Ann Brown in a small group of women who meet in North Fort Myers weekly. For the next year they will be leading a study through Experiencing the Heart of Jesus by Max Lucado. The study is open to anyone who wishes to join us. 


Classes & Studies

We offer classes on Sunday mornings and during the week ranging from ongoing Bible studies to Christian finance. Click on Classes & Studies to view the full list or go to the calendar for the next meeting.
