Hang 10 is Riverside's Sunday morning elementary program. It is an environment for elementary-aged kids (K-5) that includes an energetic large group setting for worship and teaching paired with a relational small group time. Hang 10 meets during both services.

Hang 10 Mission and Curriculum

1. I need to make the wise choice.
2. I can trust God no matter what.
3. I should treat others the way I want to be treated.

Our lessons  are organized around a monthly core virtue and broken down into weekly key concepts. We want kids not just to absorb information, but to discover how to apply God’s truths to their lives and how His truths should be the basis for their decision making.

We want kids to see how God’s Word fits into their lives, to learn how to talk to Him, and to build lasting friendships with others. We encourage you to bring your child to the same hour every Sunday so they can be with the same friends and the same leader. It is our endeavor to partner with parents in their role to raise their children. That’s why we provide a weekly assignment for families to review the Bible lesson, virtue, and verse, and encourage you to continue the Biblical teaching with your child throughout the week.

Check-In Process

Located in our elementary hallway, our happy Welcome Wagon volunteer will assist you with our check-in process. Your child's security is premier to us; name badges will be given to you and your child to assure proper pick up.

Program Time Line

Your child's adventure begins in their small group class room. From there kids will migrate to the large group setting where they will be engaged in worship, skits, games and a Bible lesson presented in a dynamic way.  Kids return to their small group setting for activities and discussions to help the kids apply what they've just learned.

Special Needs

Our SonShine small group is for kids with special needs, offered only in the 10:45 service.
