is a combined effort of churches and organizations in order to provide FREE backpacks filled with school supplies to families in need in Southwest Florida. Last year, we were able to give out 4000 backpacks at four different locations, called Block Parties!
A Block Party is a free event where the backpacks are given away. There will be food, games, music, prizes and much more at each block party. This year our goal is to handout 8000 backpacks at 6-8 different locations throughout the Lee and Collier County area. Riverside Church will host a packing party during the week of August 9th to fill these backpacks. Volunteers are needed. Please call Lynn at 689-9000 to sign up today.
